I’ve had amazing experiences with VCA Coolridge. I’ve taken my dog there for exams, vaccinations and dental cleaning. My dogs teeth were immaculate after her cleaning. Very affordable. Also, props to Monique for helping me with a stray husky. She helped me find the owners through the microchip and contacted them right away. She also called afterwards to follow up to see if there were additional concerns she could help with. She was super helpful throughout the whole process.
Unfortunately I spent nearly $500 during one visit where they could not identify my pooch’s ailment and then prescribed medications he could not use. When I asked for assistance with, at a minimum, prescribing medication he could actually take (I.e., pills rather than capsules) they said I would have to pay the full price for any new medication and they could not give a credit, refund, etc. for the other medication they improperly provided. This was unfortunate, disappointing, and disheartening to say the least. The old adage says “You get what you pay for,” but that was certainly untrue in this case. I wouldn’t recommend this VCA unless you are out of other options. It may be better to go to an emergency vet. Cost is similar, even with pet insurance.
This was my first time taking my pup to the vet. They had a cancelation and received me the same day I called to make an appointment. Dr. Davis was great and helped my pup, he is doing so much better. I am very happy with the service received from the entire staff. Great place to bring your fur babies.
I tired calling today. 4pm and the office is closed and the voicemail is full. Online and on the message it stated they were open until 7pm today. So confused. Also tried doing an online appointment because my several calls were never answered and it came with a possible coupon. Didn't get email for coupon and couldn't apply it to the visit when scheduled online. Not being responsive when I am trying to establish a relationship with a new vet for my pet is bad service.
I took my dog for a physical checkup and to get a vaccine. They also cut his nails to the point where when they gave him back to me his nail was bleeding. He covered me in blood and got the car seat filled as well. When I asked for a towel to not get my car seat dirty they gave me an old towel that looked re-used. The prices are extremely high and I wouldn’t consider the people there professionals considering the fact that they re-turned my dog bleeding without telling me.
