Just bought a new dishwasher from Home Depot and was helped by Ms Sonya Foster. I spent more than I wanted but she was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Extremely happy with my purchase and if you need anything in appliances and kitchen cabinets come see this amazing lady. Thank you Home Depot and thank Ms Foster for great customer service.
I think the overall harshness of the parking is an exaggeration. It is true at times. But parking is parking, and people have places to be. It could be better yes, but I always find parking no problem. The staff here is always kind and helpful. Management, always A1 and available to help. In-store is always good and clean, and has everything well organized and sorted. My main issue is ordering ANYTHING online at this location. I would say 8 out of 10 times, something gets canceled from my order and I either have to order it from Aspen Hill, (farther away but always completes my order), but often times I have to go in to the store myself, go to the correct isle, find it on the shelf, and then bring it to customer service to fix my order and ask why it was canceled when they had it. The inventory tends to always be off, and those who pull the orders cancel for no reason. This is annoying for obvious reasons, but as a business, I have to gather and file receipts not only for completed orders, but also canceled ones which means I have more back end work for their lack of excellence. Overall a great place to shop, but man their online team drives me crazy at times, but yet, I still order from there because it's convenient, and the staff is always friendly, but please, fix your inventory and online experience.
Really awful customer service. I'm familiar with this store and I try to avoid it, the parking is a nightmare and it seems to service mostly to contractors, customer service for homeowners or specifically women is terrible. I made the mistake of giving it a try today, it was convenient, but i should have gone to Lowes. Ended up walking out with nothing, the cashier kept arguing with me over a price mistake which was 100% their fault but he was relentless and rude. I'll try to continue to avoid this nightmare of a store. It's horrible. My anxiety gets too triggered when I'm treated badly. I had to walk out. Felt bullied and abused. No thank you.
Oct 30 2021 Updated Review - Home Depot is close so I go here. They have just gone through a re-design of the store which means lots of changes. First, it is much easier to return items with an entire dedicated section of terminals and staff. But it's now harder to find things that have moved to new sections and not all staff know the sections yet. The worst part is the checkout when it's busy. There is no organization at any of the stations, especially self-checkout. There might be one or two staff trying to direct but as soon as their attention is called away, chaos resumes. I thought I was waiting in line and someone just strolls past with hands full of stuff and starts to check out. The staff just apologized. Without six feet of spacing and dots on the floor, people don't know how to act right with each other.
I really appreciate the customer service in this store. Friendly and helpful. Really helped me out with an issue about a trash can. Please keep the good work there!
