This place and the people there have been great. We have a 4yr old Shepherd mix that is a dream behavior-wise. But we just got a pup, and wanted to make sure to get her started on the same path. She's only 10 weeks, and as you can see in the photo she is already learning to respond to commands. It's all a very positive approach, and they have had a solution for literally every behaviour we expressed I retest in correcting. Their experience training is evident, and having the ability to go back to them at any time really puts us at ease.
Absolutely horrible service. I asked THREE different times what shots were needed for boarding. When I arrive to drop off the night before I leave the country the next morning, they tell me there’s another two shots needed and she couldn’t board. After I asked and confirmed THREE times. Then nobody can take responsibility and just look around like they are clueless of what is going on. Mistakes happen, but not accepting responsibility and just blaming other people not present is HORRIBLE business.
I thought I knew well enough how to train dogs when we got our GSD puppy but I didn't want to make any mistakes, so I called up Bill at K-9 Koncepts. Originally we were just looking for a puppy socialization class which they offered, but we ended up getting so much more. The people at K-9 Koncepts truly care about dogs but in a down-to-earth no-nonsense way and they will make sure know that in almost all cases if your dog is doing something wrong it's really YOU doing something wrong, and then help you fix it. We signed up for puppy class, basic obedience, e-collar training, and nose work class. Yup that's a lot more than just the puppy fun class I thought I was getting into. But nowadays, strangers stop me on the street to ask how we got such a well-behaved dog. We take her to family functions and let her off leash among lots of people and have people who never wanted a dog or are scared of dogs start to change their minds when they see her perfect manners and recall... "if only our dog could be as good as yours!" It takes WORK for sure but if you are willing to put the time in and listen to the experts you will have a great dog for life. The best part is if you ever need more help after you sign up for a certain level of training, you are always welcome back at no extra cost to you. They want you to be happy with your dog's level of training and will work with you as long as you need to get there. And they are our only local source of our dog's raw food, K-9 Kraving, at a great price in bulk.
Great place with very calm, patient and experienced trainers. Taking my German Shepherd for training here, the tips and tricks trainers provide are simple and very helpful. Note for Dog parents: Listen to trainers specially when they tell you what you're doing wrong and how it should be done correctly.
Very efficient!! Eventhough my pup wasn't on his best behavior, they still provided good service!
