I am new to the state and looking for a Vet, while holding to speak with a receptionist I was reading through the reviews seeing negative comments about the workers at the desk. I just spoke with Brianna who was VERY nice, VERY professional and VERY helpful. Yes like all vets they are very booked up and you are unlikely to get a quick appointment but my contact with their desk staff was a positive experience.
The staff was very polite and did not appear to put money before service. They made suggestions for our dog and allowed us to determine if it fit into our budget. I was so impress with their sincere concern for the customer and the pets.
I've been taking my dogs to this veterinarian office since the 90s and I love them. They are always kind and helpful too. One thing I love is they don't bust your pockets wide open to service your pet. Any animal I have I will continue to take them to this establishment. Thank 😊for being so kind.
This place is amazing for veterinary needs but I’m not bringing our dogs back here ever again for boarding. In our first stay, our pets were over fed and they were out of it when we picked them up (probably from too much food). We also think one of our girls got fleas from the stay but couldn’t confirm it. After applying flea treatment to our dog, we decided to give this place another shot thinking the first time was an aberration, so we booked another stay. This time, one of the dogs suffered an injury to their nose and the dog who previously had fleas got them again. Also, we requested pictures every day and, while we received wonderful pictures the first couple of days, the third day they sent us blurry pictures (probably to hide the bruise on the nose) and we didn’t receive any pictures on their final night. I was so concerned about our girls that I picked them up as soon as the hospital opened. When I checked out our invoice, I noticed additional charges for services we didn’t request during their stay. Instead of giving us a refund, they gave us credit towards any other charges from the hospital. Again, this hospital has been exceptional to our dogs for care but I do not recommended them for boarding. It made my time away from our dogs super stressful and I couldn’t enjoy our vacation. We don’t think we’re going to use this place again. Updated to add the pictures of our dog’s nose. We now definitely think something happened to our baby while she was staying at Indian Head, so we’re taking her to another vet to get checked out.
Best animal care but a bit pricey. Love the doctors but pet insurance might be a benefit for long term care.
